Weary Woman Makeup Remover

Weary woman makeup removerI read once that each time you go to bed without removing your makeup, you add three days to your age. Oh dear; this could add up. So what's a weary woman to do?

Such was the dilemma posed by Carmen to Beauty Brains, asking if baby wipes would be a good solution. The resident Brain responded with a definitive “Maybe.” Sort of a yes.

A yes, but.... Here's the thing: DON'T DO IT! If you just cannot face the task of cleaning your face properly, here is a quick solution better than baby wipes: Pour a gentle cleanser (White Tea Cleansing Milk or Rice & Olives Cleansing Serum are mild enough even for the fragile eye area) onto a cotton pad or a damp face cloth and wipe away the day's makeup, dirt, debris, and oils which have settled into your pores. Wipe again with a rinsed pad/cloth and you're done. Maybe 30 seconds, start to finish.

This is a minimalist solution which falls into the category of "better-than-nothing" and I can barely restrain myself here. I will just add that an effective nighttime routine needs as little as five minutes. Sleep is a time for regeneration; use it wisely.

Your skin will thank you. Trust me.
