Skin Lightening Hand Exfoliator

½ cup granulated white sugar
2 Tablespoons olive or other light oil
Juice of ½ lemon

1. Combine ingredients and immediately rub the mixture on hands.
2. Rinse with warm water.
3. Pat dry and moisturize.

Nail brightener for dull or yellowed nails.

1. Pour white vinegar into a shallow bowl. Add a tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide if available.
2. Dip a short nailbrush into the solution and scrub dull and yellowed nails.
3. Repeat several times a day.

 

Mental Fatigue Bath

Excellent for fatigue, whatever the cause. Keeps young minds and bodies refreshed and it will help aging minds stay alert.

¼ cup dried rosemary leaves to relieve mental fatigue
¼ cup dried sage leaves to treat loss of concentration
3 Tablespoons oatmeal to soothe and soften skin

  • Mix herbs and insert into a muslin spice bag or tie up in cheesecloth. Place bag under warm running water as the bath fills. Ingredients can be mixed directly into the water if that format does not bother you. Soak and enjoy.
  • Remember to replenish body fluids by drinking plenty of water or herbal tea after a bath.
