• mechanical (brushing, scratching, excessive dryer use),
• chemical (synthetic shampoos, grooming agents, or hair sprays),
• organic causes that disrupt the ability of your hair to look its best. 

The end result is a scaly scalp and/or dandruff. Most commercial dandruff preparations aim to just control flakes, Nettles' formula helps promote healthy surface scalp conditions. Essential oils and herbal extracts help balance oil, refresh skin, and clean pores. The result is that both hair and scalp are healthy and you are flake and itch-free. Hair nourishing ingredients include: 

• Nettles A nourishing herb and has a long-standing reputation for strengthening hair, making it soft and shiny.
• Shave Grass (Horsetail) Its extremely high content of silica and minerals makes this a strengthening tonic for hair. The silica in horsetail encourages shine and luster to hair. 
• Salicylic Acid  Promotes clear scalp.  
• Castor Oil Helps clean the scalp of impurities and nourishes the scalp and hair. Its high concentration of fatty acids promote beautiful hair.  This oil is moisturizing to promote shiny hair.

As a leave-in conditioner (recommended): 

-After washing, squeeze excess water from hair.

-Work a small amount of product through wet hair from the base to the ends of the hair follicles and massage into the scalp, particularly in areas where more volume is desired. 

-Do not rinse out.  Air dry for best results.

-Style as usual. 

If your hair is very oily, use only a very small amount of conditioner. 

As a rinse out conditioner: 

-Rub a small amount of conditioner between your hands, massage into scalp, and work through hair shafts.

-If possible, try to rinse just the hair, leaving product on scalp as much as possible.

-This will make your hair soft but with less body and volume upon drying.

As a HAIR MASQUE: For extra conditioning, moisturizing, and repair.

-Wet clean hair.

-Massage generous amount of conditioner through hair, massaging into scalp.

-Cover hair with shower cap or plastic and wrap with warm towel.

-Leave masque on hair for 5-30 minutes.

-Wash hair as usual. Or, if hair is clean, just rinse. Air dry for best results.
